Belili Moon is a group of women brought together by the love of the dance.
We encompass many Middle Eastern and/or Near East dance styles.
We find that this style characterizes women in a dignified light, encompassing the epitome of strength and feminine beauty.
BARBARA is co-founder of Belili Moon. She is an accomplished tribal dancer and offers a multitude of talents including sword and candle dance.
Barbara began her study of Middle Eastern dance with exposure to many different styles and genres while studying with a local Instructor for 5 years. She discovered her love of Tribal while taking a workshop and classes with Samadhi of Jacksonville. Since then , she has devoted herself to the study, performance and education of Tribal dance.
Barbara continues her study of Tribal Style by attending workshops and seminars with some of the most respected instructors in the industry.
Barbara is dedicated to her commitment to womens health. She has a degree in radiology and specializes in mammography
Barbara acts as the troupes research coordinator for costuming as well as Stage Manager for Belili and Blue Lotus when she is not performing
GINA MARIE :
is co-founder and artistic/marketing director of Belili Moon Tribal Fusion and Founding Director of Blue Lotus Bellydance.
Gina began her Middle Eastern Dance training in Classical Egyptian and Oriental. She offers much diversity in her dance style and enjoys many genres. She is especially fond of dancing with props such as Sword, Veil, Cane and Isis Wings.
She has studied with numerous regional and local instructors including Jean Courter, Sajah, Kim Duran, Leslie Faircloth, Julianne, Bhrigha and master instructor Alexia of Tennesee.
Gina is honored to be a Sister Studio to Fat Chance Bellydance®. She has attained her general skills certification as well as completed Teacher Training levels one and two . Gina is proud to have studied for her certifications with Carolena Nericcio and Megha Gavin and honored to provide consistant and proficient training to all interested in this beautiful style.
She is certified in Classical Egyptian and Gypsy Style Bellydance and is diligent about keeping up with the latest trends in Bellydance by attending numerous workshops and lectures presented by top names in the Middle Eastern dance world .

LULOAH
Is a core member of Belili Moon Tribal and was the third member after Gina and Barbara. She acts as treasurer and secretary.
LuLoah has been dancing since childhood. Her first encounter with bellydance was via an exercise dvd. She enjoyed it so much that she purchased a choreography dvd and pursued classes.
Bellydance has become part of her being and she cannot imagine life without it.
Luloah's first encounter with Tribal Style Dance was in Fort Lauderdale at Spirit of the Tribes. She was captivated by the group improvisation.
Little did she know that the same dancers would become her sisters in Belili Moon. Luloah is a strong yet feminine , graceful dancer.
She has a diverse background including a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tae kwon do
Her favorite prop is the sword.
LUSYNDA;
has been actively studying and performing Middle Eastern Dance since 1982.
At this point, nearly half of her life. She is fluent in Classical, Gypsy, Fusion,Tribal , Sword, Veil and more.
She has lived abroad and always managed to make time for her Dance study. When there was no teacher, she taught.
She was initially exposed to Tribal in 1993 when she viewed a Fat Chance Bellydance ® vhs tape. She was intrigued and hooked from minute one! She did not get the chance to focus and study Tribal within a group dynamic until she returned to the U.S. in 1994.
In 2006, LuSynda achieved one of her dreams, by attending a Tribal Pura workshop with Carolena and Megha Gavin of Devyani. In May of 2007 she achieved her General Skills Certification with a visit to the Fat Chance Studio in San Francisco.
In 2011, Lusynda achieved her Teacher Training level one from Carolena Nericchio.
Dance has been the constant in her life. No matter where she ended up, she never quit dancing. She continues to attend workshops and classes to hone her skills. It keeps her young and alive!
LuSynda has requested that a post be made on our site announcing that she is on a medical leave of absence. Her Belili Moon sisters lovingly await her return.
ANNUNCIATA has been seriously studying Middle Eastern Dance since the tender age of 13. She is a second generation Bellydancer, following the footsteps of her mother. She has perfected her technique with a variety of teachers including Julianne, Madame Xena, Zhaleh Fereshteh, Amy and Leslie of Samadhi and Sajah of Island Tribe.
Annunciata discovered Tribal when she attended a workshop hosted by Mindy Haworth featuring her sister Megan Martyn, from New Mexico. She was entranced by the Tribal Style but did not have a troupe to perform with.
In December of 2008, she was invited to join Belili Moon. Annunciata gained her General Skills Certificate from Carolina Nericcio, founder of Fat Chance Bellydance ® in April 2009.
Annunciata is proficient with a variety of techniques and props, her favorite being veil and fire. She recently attained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is a professionally certified teacher.
Annunciata is residing in Orlando and continues her studies in dance.
